RIDING AT PINE RIDGE
TERMS & CONDITIONS

SAFETY:
 HIGH RISK SPORT - Riding is a high risk sport.
All horses can be unpredictable and you may fall off and be injured. 
Please adhere to any rules/instruction as we do our best to insure the safety of all riders/handlers.


ACCIDENTS:
 All accidents must be reported and an accident form completed and signed.


PAYMENT FOR LESSONS/PONY CLUB:
All riding is payable on booking. 
Please Note: Horses/Instructors will only be allocated to you, once your lesson/Pony Club session has been paid for.

No refunds are given.

 

CANCELLATIONS - Please take note of our CANCELATION POLICY as this is strictly adhered to.

PRIVATE LESSONS  – 3 full days notice is required to reschedule a private lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice are payable in full.

GROUP LESSONS   – 24 hours notice is required to reschedule a group lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice are payable in full.

PONY CLUB PAID MONTHLY - cannot be rescheduled. If you miss a session for any reason, you forfeit it.

 

BLOCK BOOKED LESSONS:
 We offer discounted block bookings for the committed rider. If you decide to purchase a block of lessons, please note, you have 8 weeks to use the lessons and appropriate notice MUST be given if you wish to reschedule. This excludes Pony Club sessions paid for monthly, which cannot be rescheduled for any reason and any sessions missed are forfeited.

 

RIDING TIMES:
 Riders should arrive on time for their lessons. Late arrivals cannot be extended beyond their lesson time.

 

REGISTRATION FORM:

All riders must complete a registration form.

 

RIDERS WEIGHT LIMIT – 12 stone or 75kg’s

 

WHAT TO WEAR:

Boots with a small heel.
Riding helmet. If you don't have your own, you can hire one of ours for £2.00 per lesson.
No jewellery.
Long hair must be tied back.
No trainers or sandals.
No hoodies.
Dress for the weather.
Correct safety clothing must be worn when riding or when working with the horses.

 

WEATHER:

Riding is an all weather sport, however, in the case of extreme weather where conditions are deemed unsafe to ride, your lesson will be rescheduled. You will be contacted and a new time/date will be arranged.

 

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16:

All children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult. Children may not be left on the yard unless by prior arrangement. (Attending Pony Club or participating in a lesson).
